We will examine our History and where we came from during Advent
and then look at what our beliefs are throughout Lent.

Advent Series: Our History

Including the Age of Persecution, the Age of Councils, and the Age of Crusades.
#2 Dec. 7th 1500s to 1700s: The rise of Anglicanism
Including Protestant Reformation, the English Reformation, and the first Books of Common Prayer.
#3 Dec. 14th The Episcopal Church – Foundation through
1900s: Its creation and spread throughout the new United States. First U.S. BCP. National Church, Provinces, and Dioceses.
#4 Dec. 21st The Episcopal Church – 1960s to Present: How the
Church has grown and changed with the times.
Format:
- We will begin with Evening Prayer
- Light meal and Presentation / Discussion
- End with Closing Prayer
