Second Sundays

On the second Sunday of each month at the 10:15 service, we seek to broaden our liturgical and communal horizons with an alternative type of service.

We often use prayers and other rites from different traditions, and music from newer sources. The sermon is more interactive. Members of the congregation are encouraged to submit their thoughts on the scripture passages to the Rector ahead of time. The choir sits in the main nave with the other worshippers, rather than vesting and sitting in the choir loft.

All in all, it's a less formal, but still very worshipful, approach to liturgy.
