Throughout the year St. Giles church gathers for fellowship events. Some stem from the liturgy; others are strictly for fun. But whenever we come together, and whatever the reason, we grow as a community.
Every Sunday following the 10:15 service we have coffee hour with snacks provided by a member of the church. This is a great time to catch up with your neighbors, let the kids run and play, or look over the books in the library.
Our fellowship often centers around potluck meals. Just to name a few: pancake supper on Shrove Tuesday, a simple soup and bread meal on Wednesdays during Lent, the love-filled Agape Supper on Maundy Thursday, and a potluck after Lessons and Carols during Advent.
We gather for the occasional ice cream social, brunch for newcomers, or men's or women's functions. Parish picnics bookend the school year.
And, plans for more fellowship opportunities are in the works including a family camping adventure. Come join us!
